Larry Cox 5th Annual Turkey Trot

TurkeyTrot-092-300x289On April 21, 2005 The Chillicothe Police Department and the community suffered a tragic loss when Officer Larry Cox was shot and killed while off-duty. Larry was an avid runner who participated in various races throughout the Chillicothe and Columbus areas. The Southern Ohio Crime stoppers is hosting the 5th annual Larry Cox Turkey Trot on November 26, 2009 (Thanksgiving) at 9am. Registration begins at 7:30am in the Chillicothe City Pool Parking Lot and includes a 5k and 1-mile fun run.

Detectives continue to investigate Drug Activity in the City of
Chillicothe, and all information is helpful in the enforcement of
the drug laws of the State of Ohio and City of Chillicothe. All citizens
are asked to provide tips of criminal activity in their neighborhoods to the
Police Department. All information is valuable to the investigation. Any
and all tips can remain anonymous through Crime Stoppers or by sending
emails to drugtip@chillicothepolice.com
