RX/OTC informative parental program

The Ross County Sheriff’s Department’s and the Chillicothe Police Department’s D.A.R.E. programs will be hosting a RX/OTC informative parental program. Citizens will have the opportunity to properly dispose of prescription and over-the-counter medications. Literature will be available and the D.A.R.E. Officers will give an informative presentation. Search warrants served

​On February 8, 2010 at approximately 4:00PM the Chillicothe Police Department executed a search warrant at 162 N Poplar St. Confiscated at this residence was a large amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. While executing the search warrant at 162 N Poplar St, Officers smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the residence at 150 N Poplar St. The resident was contacted and consent was given to search the residence. Marijuana was found during this consent search, at which time a search warrant was obtained to search the rest of the residence. Confiscated, as a result of this search warrant was crack cocaine, powder cocaine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and cash. Charges in both search warrants are pending investigation and chemical analysis.
