Los Angeles, CA (Date) — Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) officers and community leaders nationwide are joining forces with medication lock-box developers MedSafe in a weeklong effort to curb the biggest problem facing our youth today – prescription and over-the-counter drug abuse. Scheduled to take place nationwide February 22nd through 28th, D.A.R.E.’s “Rx OTC Awareness Week” is the first-ever program of its kind designed to educate parents on the dangers of prescription drug abuse.
