Traffic Pattern change

Recently, traffic signals have been taken out and replaced by stop signs throughout town. Motorists should make note of these changes.

Fourth and Walnut STs. Traffic signals have been removed and Stops signs have been set up for Fourth ST. traffic. Traffic North and South bound on Walnut St. DOES NOT STOP. All traffic coming off of Fourth HAS TO STOP AND YIELD to Walnut ST. Traffic.

Second and Mulberry STs— Traffic signals have been removed and Stop signs have been erected for Second St. Traffic. Traffic going North and South on Mulberry ST. DOES NOT STOP. All traffic from Second ST. has to STOP AND YIELD to Mulberry St. traffic.

Second and High Sts. The traffic light has been replaced by stop signs. Traffic traveling North and South on High St. DOES NOT STOP. All traffic coming from Second St. has to STOP and YIELD to High St. traffic.

Second and Walnut STs–. The traffic signal has been replaced, and four way stop signs have been erected.

FREE smoke alarms

The Chillicothe Fire Dept. along with the Ohio Fire Marshal’s Office are partners in Project S.A.F.E. (Smoke Alarms For Everybody) Our goal is to get operating smoke alarms in EVERY residence in Chillicothe. Alarms are installed by uniformed on-duty FD personnel as time permits.
Call 740-773-2212 for more information. You must live in the city limits of Chillicothe to take advantage of the program.

Shoplifting at Super Kmart/Subjects have been IDentifed, thanks to those who helped

Chillicothe Police need help in identifying the two people in the attached pictures. Police need to speak to them in reference to a shoplifting that occurred at Super Kmart on 11-16-10.
The woman has a Tattoo on the side of her neck. Any information should be forwarded to Ofc. PR Buchanan, preferably after 11PM. A message can be left for him at anytime, please refer to report # 10-21669.
