Attached is a picture of a female involved in a confidence theft from Marathon on Western Ave. On 9-20-12 an unknown man called the store and represented himself as Marathon management, to the on duty employee. The person from “management” instructed the employee to give a certain amount of money to another person that would come into the store and pick it up.
The “manager” was able to con the employee using legitimate business terms and procedures.
The female in the picture arrived at the store, and received the money.

Today, from 1PM to 4:30pm, the Ross County Health Dept. along with the Chillicothe Police and Fire Departments will be holding a child safety seat check . Certified car seat technicians will be on hand to educate parents, guardians and caregivers on the proper installation and use of a child safety seat. The event will be held at Chillicothe Fire Department Station #1 at 54 E. Water St.

On this date at approx. 3pm Chillicothe Police Detectives along with the Special Response team served a search warrant at 433 Lillie St. Detectives located heroin, drug paraphernalia, and cash during the search. Arrested was Ervin B. Himelrick, Jr. for possession of heroin, Tameron Himelrick for permitting drug abuse, Dustin Brock for a warrant charging petty theft and driving under suspension and Elizabeth Hankins for a warrant charging felony possession of drugs.
At 4:30pm Detectives and the Special Response Team served a second search warrant at 423 Mill St. Detectives located cocaine, drug paraphernalia and evidence of heroin abuse/trafficking. Arrested was Anthony E. Atwood for possession of cocaine and Elizabeth Yeager for possession of drug abuse instruments.
