K9 Ciko makes an appearance at Girl Scout Camp

K9 Ofc. T. Gannon and her partner, Ciko had the opportunity to visit Girl Scout Camp Tea-Qui Mead, held at Great Seal State Park,  recently.   The Girl Scouts had the opportunity to meet women who have pursued and succeeded in male dominated fields.    Throughout the week, the girls have learned about nature and survival skills as well.

 

 

ID sought in robbery from Wal-Mart

On 6-14-14 at approx. 4:40PM, a w/m wearing a long sleeve shirt, sunglasses and Khaki pants entered the Wal-Mart store and handed a note to the customer service associate. The note made threats of violence if money was not given to the suspect. The suspect was given a sum of money, and he left the store. The suspect the left the area in a dark colored SUV. No violence was committed.

New Pictures on theft from OU-C, cards used at Wal-Mart

Last month, a theft from OU-C was posted. Original suspect information provided was not the person sought. New pictures have become available, and are attached below. The man in the suit is the suspect in the theft. It is believed the man in the blue plaid shirt was involved as well.

On 5-8-14, a purse was stolen from Ohio University-Chillicothe. Inside the purse were several credit cards. The victim contacted her card issuers and found the cards had been used at Wal-Mart to buy thousands of dollars in gift cards.

Attached is a picture of the suspect that used the cards at Wal-Mart. Anyone having info on this case should contact Ofc.Yoder at 740-773-1191, refering to report #14-7792.

Reward offered in missing person case

The Chillicothe Police Department and Ross County Sheriff’s Office, in conjunction with Southern Ohio Crime Stoppers, is offering a $1000.00 reward for any information leading to the whereabouts of Charlotte Trego. Ms. Trego was reported missing on May 18, 2014 by her mother. Ms. Trego is alleged to have been missing since May 3, 2014. Please contact Det.
