Drug Bust on 2-10-12 results in search warrant on this date

On 2-10-12, the Chillicothe Police Department received information that a shipment of drugs would be coming in from Detroit, MI. The person delivering the drugs was supposed to be arriving on a Greyhound Bus and A canine officer was assigned to follow up on the matter. The officer observed a subject get off the bus, and into a Taxi. After stopping the Taxi for a traffic violation, Canine Cicko alerted to the passenger compartment where Hasani HZ De Brossard was sitting.
Upon conducting a search, $32,700 worth of prescription pills and $2,000 worth of Heroin was located on De Brossard’s person. Within his reach was a loaded .40 caliber handgun, tucked inside a bag. Mr. De Brossard, of Bidwell, Oh was arrested and charged with several felony drug and weapons violations.
As a result of the Officers investigation and follow up of the tip and following arrest, Detectives of the Chillicothe Police Department were able to serve a related search warrant. Detectives of the Chillicothe Police and Pipeline Task Force executed a search warrant at 231 Scioto Ave. Marijuana, paraphernalia, cash and a firearm were recovered. The resident, Antoine Terry was arrested for Weapons under disability.
Evidence recovered in this case will be sent to BCI&I for testing and additional charges may be presented to the Ross County Grand Jury.
