Search warrant served/more guns property recovered

On 8-25-13, patrol division officers received another credible tip that a person had stolen property from a recent burglary. Ofcs. set up covert surveillance in the east end neighborhood, and located Forrest Bowling(charged with felony receiving stolen property) with a double barrel shot gun.
Utilizing information, Ofcs. were able to secure a search warrant for the house being used to store some of the stolen items. Due to the fact the residence in question, 830 Jefferson Ave., may have more stolen guns, the Special Response Team was utilized in serving the warrant. The warrant was served without incident.
Detectives and patrol officers were able to find numerous stolen items listed in recent burglary reports. All stolen items located so far have been identified. Ronald Rinehart was arrested for Receiving Stolen Property.
The burglaries are still being investigated, and there are persons of interest being sought. We hope to make arrests in the burglaries soon, as physical evidence and other information is processed.
