Person arrested in this case

Shortly after posting this on Facebook, numerous persons called and sent messages to Crimestoppers.  The first tipster from Crimestoppers gave good information with the correct suspect info for a female from Washington CH.  Authorities in Fayette County contacted our department.  Working their end in Washington CH, was able to locate her and serve an unrelated warrant for her arrest.  Thanks to those that called and sent info to Crimestoppers.  Info regarding the tip will be sent to Crimestoppers for evaluation.    Our department will be seeking warrants charging theft.

On 3-3-15 a female entered Kohls, selected merchandise and concealed it on her person. The suspect then left the store.  Loss Prevention attempted to stop her, she refused to comply and got into a black Pontiac.  The Pontiac, driven by a man, fled the scene.

Suspect ID sought in theft from menards

On 4-6-13 a white female stuffed a roll of copper tubing under her jacket and then walked passed all points of sale and out the exit door without paying for the 25 foot of Bare Copper. The female then got into a black Ford Mustang that was waiting outside the exit door. Anyone with information in regards to the identity of the suspect can contact Ofc. Newsome, the investigating officer, at 740-773-1191. Refer to report # 13-5691.

Update on Kmart shoplifter

An arrest has been made on the most recent posted Kmart shoplifting case. Ater posting this information, Southern Ohio Crimestoppers began forwarding tips to Ofc. Short. Ofc. short secured an arrest warrant for the suspect, Timothy Carl Jr.
On this date, Ofcs. Served the warrant on Mr. Carl and he was incarcerated at the Ross Co. jail.
We would like to thank the community for giving the information to Southern Ohio Crimestoppers. The arrest information will be turned over to them.
